In senior infants we did lots of experiments for science week. We did a skittles experiment to show how the sugar in the skittles dissolved to make rainbow colours.
We did an experiment to show how you can’t inflate a balloon on a bottle as it’s full of air . When we cut a hole in the bottle we could inflate it .
We did an experiment with celery and food colouring to show how a plant gets it’s food.
We did another experiment to show how oil and water do not mix. We put a fizzy tablet in the water and oil and the gases collected and made it like a lava lamp .
Ms Magnetti’s class did an experiment to show how sounds travels. They made a telephone from paper cups and string . It was so cool
