In Buaile Beag NS we have been working very hard to try and achieve our ninth Green Flag. A very successful “Day of Action” was held on Tuesday.
In the morning classes gathered in the hall to present their work on “Global Citizenship-Travel”. Children displayed and spoke about wonderful projects.
Children from Naíonáin Bheaga to Rang 2 then began their walk around the school grounds. Rang 3 to Rang 6 walked to Drum soccer ground. Here they enjoyed games of soccer and healthy snacks before they began the walk home. Lessons continued back at school based on the theme of travel. Well done to everyone on their excellent work!
