On Thursday the 12th October, 3rd and 4th Class visited Barna Woods and Silverstrand Beach.
They had a lovely walk through the woods and then continued onto the beach. Here the children carried out a beach clean up. They were divided into groups and covered different sections of the beach. They took their duties very seriously and gathered several bags of rubbish, finding several treasures along the way too – including a fossil and a wedding ring. A successful clean up but sad to see how much rubbish they collected. We are all going to make a conscious effort to always tidy up after ourselves and others if we can.
Well done again to all the boys and girls for their huge efforts and great attitudes!
